       Disagreements in Israel on whether to respond to Iran or not

       The war cabinet meeting in Israel is over. According to
       some information, it was decided to strike Iran in the
       next 24 to 48 hours.
       Israeli media reports say that the discussion was
       intense among the members of the Cabinet and it was
       not possible to reach a decision on whether to
       respond, the size and the target of the response.
       They seem to understand that if they answer there will be an even
       stronger response from Iran and an escalation of the crisis, while
       the US has separated its position: They do not want Israel to
       answer and they made it clear in Tel Aviv.
       However, no official communiqué has been issued after
       the talks and everything is currently moving at the level of
       affairs, but the previous statements of Israeli officials
       suggested that a strong blow against Iran was being
       prepared.
       According to information from the international media,
       during the meeting of the Israeli war council, a series of
       reprisals to be imposed on Tehran were examined after
       the attack it carried out with a barrage of drones and
       cruise missiles.
       Israel's defence minister made it clear earlier that there
       will be a response and even stressed that the operation is
       not yet over. At the same time, the USA and the EU clearly
       stand by Israel's side, recognising the right to self-defence,
       but they call for self-restraint and to avoid an expanded
       conflict.
       Other reports indicate that the majority of cabinet
       members agreed to strike Iran but there were
       disagreements over the magnitude of that response.
