NETANYAHU WILL BE ARRESTED IF FOUND ON FRENCH OR GERMAN SOIL - GERMANY WILL
EXECUTE THE ARREST WARRANTS ISSUED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT AGAINST
ISRAEL  PRIME MINISTER

Germany has announced that it will execute the arrest warrant issued by the
International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu if he visits the country.  The decision follows similar statements by
France and Norway, increasing pressure on Netanyahu over allegations of war
crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.  The ICC's chief prosecutor, Karim
Khan, has sought arrest warrants against Netanyahu and other high-ranking
Israeli officials for their actions in Gaza.  These warrants are issued as part
of the ICC's investigation into possible war crimes and crimes against humanity
committed during the conflict.  The possible arrest of Netanyahu will have
significant implications for international diplomacy and the political
situation in Israel.  Despite US and Israeli opposition to ICC jurisdiction,
ICC member countries such as Germany are obliged to execute ICC arrest
warrants.
