THE RUSSIAN "MEGA-BOMB" FAB-3000 IS COMING – IT FLATTENS AN AREA LIKE CAESAREA
WITH ONE DROP

Although precision bombs have the lead, high explosive power seems to be "coming
back". Russia, having already stepped up its use of FAB-1500 bombs in the war in
Ukraine, plans to introduce the new FAB-3000 in tests next month.  The FAB-3000
bombs, which weigh 3 tons, will first be tested in training fields before being
used in operations in Ukraine.  The FAB-1500 bombs have proven to be
particularly effective, as they can cause widespread destruction in a radius of
up to 500 meters.  Their use has increased significantly as these bombs have
been converted into "smart" bombs with the use of UMPK navigation kits, which
allow them to be precisely guided to their targets.  FAB-3000, which is even
more powerful, is expected to be tested soon.  This bomb can eliminate targets
in a radius of up to 900 meters, and its production has already begun in large
quantities.  Russian forces use the tactic of dropping bombs from high
altitudes, beyond the range of most Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems, making them
nearly impossible to intercept.  Russia is now increasing the use of FAB-1500
bombs in Ukraine with FAB-3000 to enter test sites already next month.  First
they will be dropped at the training grounds before entering into service in
Ukraine.
